Yuya Iwasaki

In 2015, I moved from a different industry to the coffee world.
After obtaining the international coffee connoisseur "Q Grader

I have been a member of the Cup Of Excellence international jury.

In 2018, the country's most prestigious competition for roasting techniques, the
Second place at the Japan Coffee Roasting Championship 2018.

Then placed 5th in Asia at the International Roasters Cup international competition held in Taiwan.
In 2019, he won the JAC Roast Competition 2019.

I am in charge of quality control at TAKAMURA COFFEE ROASTERS.

When I was a student, I was working at a certain coffee chain, and one of the regular customers at the coffee shop was our representative, which led me to work at Takamura.

It's been almost six years since then.

I love the moment when people who are not familiar with coffee can feel the profound appeal of specialty coffee.

I am always thinking about the coffee that enriches the moments you enjoy, away from your own hands.

I face coffee every day.

This spring will mark my third year working at Takamura Coffee.

I've been working in the coffee business for about 7 years now, but extracting good coffee is a new discovery for me every day.

I'm currently learning roasting under the guidance of my boss!

After work, I enjoy drinking beer with my dog, Tirol.

Coffee is a wonderful and mysterious drink that brings people together. I am fascinated by it and joined Takamura.

My favorite drinks are sake and coffee, and my hobbies are pure coffee shops and vinyl records.

SATOSHI KAYAHARA

Originally, I was not a coffee drinker, but I was shocked by the light roasted coffee and jumped into this world.

My favorite bean is Panama Esmeralda Geisha Washed.

My hobbies are hip-hop dancing and collecting coffee equipment.

When I was studying abroad in the U.S., I visited many coffee shops and was surprised by the taste of the light roasted coffee at one of the stores, and that was the beginning of my coffee life.

My hobbies include reading, watching movies, and playing the keyboard (piano).

Basically, my hobbies are things I can do while drinking coffee. Recently, I've been addicted to Japanese black and white movies from the 1940s and 1950s.

I've been working at Takamura for a year now. I used to work in a bakery. I can't make bread.

My favorite thing to do is to watch Korean idols, listen to late night radio of comedians, and recently I've been addicted to the anime Naruto.

I love to go abroad.

I love colorful things, good smells, delicious food, never-before-seen scenery, passionate sounds, photography, music, coffee, pictures, and jokes.

NATSUMI NISHIKAWA

Born and raised in Osaka, I love good food, Japanese rock and pop music from the 2000s, and idols like Morning Musume, and I often go to live concerts on my days off!

Takamura is new to the coffee industry and is still learning.

I would like to help people who are new to the coffee to enjoy choosing and drinking coffee without thinking too hard!

I will do my best to make coffee that you will find delicious, so if you see me at the store, let's talk!

RYO KIHARA

Hi, I'm Ryo Kihara.

When I was a student, I worked at a cafe in Canada where I studied abroad.

From there, my passion for coffee gradually grew stronger, and after graduating from university, I went to Australia to study coffee.

After returning to Japan and working at various cafes in Japan, I joined TAKAMURA COFFEE ROASTERS.

I am able to work in an environment where all the staff members are pursuing delicious coffee every day, and I am fulfilled with what I learn every day.

I would like to continue to work hard in the future.

Tatsuya Imai

I was exposed to the profound appeal of specialty coffee at Takamura.

I was fortunate enough to be a regular customer, and decided to join the company as an EC manager.

My previous job was as a system engineer. My hobbies are going saunas and visiting bookstores, anime and manga.

I will support Takamura from behind the scenes so that the company's appeal can be conveyed to as many people as possible.

By the way, I am also the one who started this online store.

Every time an order comes in, I get a notification and I'm smiling in front of my computer!
